  • Internet Archive and Bookmark/chaching
I am also going to build one for having your own 'internet archive', so you can have a copy of the websites your community wants to have access to, locally.

https://conifer.rhizome.org/

I will have a call with its core dev next week to see how to go about it for CNs

It would be useful for example if the community network is locally fast, but don't have access to the internet (or a very limited one).
this system could cache the websites, or someone could go to the city and get the websites for the rest, and then have this 'internet archive' accesible for the whole community:

  • Webniar for more of us

    have you seen this?
    https://unhangout.media.mit.edu/
I think it has a pretty neat way about it and could be integrated to your project

and it solves the "all students on audio/video zoom call" too so it goes beyond dealing with the village problem.
what happens with the daughter of my partner is that she jumps into zoom and everyone is speaking at the same time, and it doesn't work.
in this way the teacher can welcome the students, and then use the breakout rooms for them to interact with each other great!!!
    you will love it!
they have a plenary mode, were some are giving a talk and others are joining but cant find it yet

Was thinking that for the webinar part of the project you could use this to stream one way: https://groups.google.com/forum/m/#!topic/meetecho-janus/DV9TBR058pU
As part of the unhangouts experience Would love to test and show u what I mean
